🎉 Socktober Update! 🧦

Way to go, Wildcats! Onsted Middle School students have already collected 577 pairs of socks for Socktober — that’s 577 acts of kindness helping people in need! 💜

The competition is heating up, and our top three teams so far are:
🥇 The Gummy Bears
🥈 The Neanderthals
🥉 The OG Dragons

There’s still time to make a difference! Keep bringing in new socks of all sizes — every pair counts toward helping our community and toward your team’s total. Let’s see how many more pairs we can collect before the end of Socktober (October 31st)!

🧦 Let’s show that Wildcat pride by finishing strong! 💪

The 8th grade Volleyball team traveled to Hillsdale Monday night to compete against the Hornets. Onsted was pushing hard and took the first set 25-21, and were up by several points in set 2 when bookkeeping errors & frustration put a temporary hold on floor play, which in turn caused the Ladycats momentum to be altered. The opponents took advantage of this and came back to take sets 2 & 3 for the match win. Scores were 25-27 and 22-25. Overall total points were Onsted 72 & Hillsdale 73.
Top server on the night was Ellie Cannon.  Others scoring were: Paisley Murphy, Delaynie  Rumsey, Piper Chamberlain, Briella Ross, Paige Mathis, & Bella Ross.

Last night, the 7th grade volleyball team traveled to Hillsdale for their second meeting of the season. The wildcats showed up and showed out, SWEEPING the hornets in three sets! The first set concluded with a 25-19 win, the second set concluded with a 25-11 win, and the third set closed out the match with a 25-18 win. Leading servers for the wildcats were Fiona Anderson with 11 service points followed by Vanessa Oliver and Macie Lover, both with 8 service points. Through hustle and teamwork, the lady cats prevailed! Go cats!

The next matches will be at Ida on Wednesday 10/8
