The 7th Grade Girls came out with intensity and hustle tonight to beat the Hillsdale Hornets. Tonight was a great team effort! We did a great job of pushing the ball up the court and playing aggressive defense. Brynn Lowe, Mason Brogan, Annabelle Blunt, Claire Edmonson, Karoline Wilharms, Ellie Cannon, and Ella Arnold were all contributors on offense. Delaynie Rumsey, Jayden Burger, Jesica Imm, and Maddy Schultz did a great job of being big down low and grabbing numerous rebounds. Maggie Springer, Paige Mathis, and Paisley Murphy did a fantastic job of pressuring the ball, causing some turnovers. We are back in action next Tuesday at Dundee. Go Cats!

The Wildcats were able to get a big win 62-60 over a good Western team. Onsted was led by three players reaching double figures Ayden Davis 22 points and 18 rebounds, JT Hill 13 points and 9 rebounds, and Aidan Paquin 12 points. Talon Hutchinson and Rylan Henagan chipped in with 8 points, 4 assists and 7 points and 5 assists. Onsted advances to the District Final where they will face Adrian at Western.

The 7th grade girls came out with intensity tonight, but fell short to Clinton. We saw a lot of improvements as a team! We were running our offense, getting some steals, attacking the basket, and playing some aggressive defense. Offensive contributions were made by Brynn Lowe, Karoline Wilharms, and Ellie Cannon.

The 8th Grade Lady Cats continue to show improvement and teamwork each game. Good ball movement and spacing led to several good shots. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get many baskets to drop. Offensive contributions were made by Braelyn Valasek, Payton Edwards, and Jessiyah Helminiak. In the defensive end, Grace Kent, Violet VanSickle, and Addison Schmidt showed a lot of hustle for Onsted.
