OMS yearbooks will go on sale today.  This year all yearbooks will be ordered online and delivered in May.  You will also have an opportunity to personalize your yearbook.  First and second hour teachers will be distributing order information today.  Order your yearbooks early and save 10%

7th and 8th grade football  meet in the locker room today 3:30

Applications for Robotics Club are now available from Mrs. Hildreth in the PLTW room.  Don’t miss your chance to design, build, drive, and compete with your team’s robot!  Space is limited, so don’t delay! Applications are due no later than Tuesday, October 3.

Homecoming week! Parade starts at 4, game is at 7.

Good Luck to the XC team as they are traveling to the Stockbridge Invite on Saturday.

The 8th grade Volleyball Match was at home Wednesday against Clinton. The Ladycats put up a great effort but Clinton took the match claiming all 3 sets. Grace Teske & Ireland Jones led the scoring for Onsted. The next day of competition will be at home on Monday.

7th and 8th grade YIG members, grab your lunch and meet in Mr. Hoffman's classroom today!

The 7th grade volleyball team fought a hard match last night, but fell short to Hudson in the end.

The 8th grade Volleyball Team took on Hudson at home Monday night claiming 2 of 3 sets. Serving leaders on the night were Ava Deland & Grace Teske. Great work ladies! The cats will be back in action on Wednesday hosting Clinton.

Good Luck MS Cross Country team as they travel today at 3:00 to Ella Sharp Park in Jackson for the Jackson Invite. Attention Teachers: Students will be released early to get ready before they need to leave.

Welcome back on National School Backpack Awareness Day.

YIG students we will meet today during lunch in Mr. Hoffman's room. Bring your Lunch.

Student council members, you can meet during lunch or during advisory if your teacher allows it...We have lots to get ready/plan.

-The Onsted XCountry team ran at home under sunny skies at the Onsted Park.

The Onsted Girls ran very well with all receiving medals. Klair Baker finished 3rd, Alana Ramsey finished 8th, and Maggie Springer finished 17th out of a field of 62 runners. Also medaling for the girls was Samarah Huffman, whom established a new personal best time.

The Onsted Boys ran a tough race among the 73 runners. Medaling for the boys were Garrett Smith who finished 17th, and John Pfeffer who finished 19th and beat his personal best. Aiden Pliska also broke his personal best time, beating it by 3 minutes!

Next up for the Onsted MS XCountry team is a meet at Ella Sharpe Park on Friday! Go Cats!

-7th football team grade won, 8th grade fought hard but fell short.

- seventh grade volleyball team traveled to Hillsdale last night where they swiped the first set, but fell short the second and third. 8th grade Volleyball Team played in Hillsdale Wednesday night, and went home with a match win 25-22, 25-16 & 25-14.  Serving leaders included: Ava Deland, Grace Teske, Peyton Edwards, and Addisan Thompson. Great effort by all tonight!

MS Volleyball team: 

The 8th grade Volleyball Team traveled to Ida Monday night for their season opener. Despite putting up a good effort, the cats came up short. They will be back in action this Wednesday on the road to Hillsdale.

The 7th grade volleyball team traveled to Ida last night where they played their first match of the season. The wildcats fought hard and succeeded in talking one set from Ida. Good job lady cats!

FCA...what is it, you ask? Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a volunteer group that will meet during ALL lunches, on Wednesdays, throughout the rest of the school year. Our first meeting will be next Wednesday, September 20, 2023 (6th Grade will start the week after 6th grade Camp)

Attention teachers Bus 21 was running late

7th and 8th grade students interested in going to Michigan Youth and Government please see Ms. Sherman or Mr. Hoffman for an application.  Applications are due back on Monday, September 18th.

Classes will be called down to get pictures taken. Starting with 8th grade and Mrs Willhite Classroom can head that way. Also the following students going on field trip with Mr. Aiken need to report to the band room following announcements
