Mr. Aiken 1st hour class won the canned food drive!

In an exciting back and forth matchup, the 7th grade boys basketball team completed the perfect season and beat Blissfield by 4 points in overtime. What a phenomenal year - the significant rise in productivity that the boys made was outstanding from the start of the year to the end. As a team, and more importantly a family, the Wildcats came together and proved to show handwork, determination, and grit all season long. The boys did a fantastic job representing their families, school and community. Coach Rivera could not be more proud. Congrats boys on finishing 12-0!

Onsted 8th grade boys basketball wrapped up the season with a 9 point loss to a very tough and undefeated Blissfield team.  Carter Gillean and Parker Paquin lead the scoring for the Cats with 6 points each.  Each player on the Cats improved throughout the season, and each player’s contribution lead to a very successful 8 win season. Each player hustled throughout, had a great attitude, and played with heart. Congratulations!!!

The 7th grade boys basketball team traveled to Ida and beat an over aggressive Ida team. Wesley Garrison continues to control the paint, Owen Gemalsky caused deflection after deflection, Jacob Hill ran the offense and broke the press, Alex Hunt did a fantastic job denying the entry pass, Mason Jacob’s brought great energy making tough baskets, & Cade Symington demonstrated great leadership scoring and assisting on almost every point in the final quarter. A true team effort was needed to pull out tonight’s victory as the Wildcats played with outstanding passion, aggression, and heart

Onsted won a tough game against a tough team at Ida by 2 points.  Carter Gillean lead the Cats with 12 points, taking the ball to the basket with confidence and accuracy.   Parker Paquin scored 9 points, including hitting a big three pointer.  Taryn Cabla, Zach Jaquish, and Mark Rascol played incredible defense denying the wings and relentlessly helping against the pick and roll offense.

Chemistry Challenge students will meet in Miss Martells room at lunch today. Please bring your folders. 

The 7th grade boys team came out with a 14 point victory over Adrian Madison to move to 10-0 on the year. John Pfeffer, Armani Fedd, and Kolton Sherwood did a great job on offense taking the ball to the rim and scoring. Alex Moore and Owen Gemalsky facilitated the ball well making extra passes and hitting open teammates while Dustin Six and Jeremy Walters continued to control the glass grabbing rebounds. Alex Hunt, Jacob Hill, and Wesley Garrison combined for 35 points to lead the Wildcats to victory.

The Onsted 8th grade boys basketball team beat Madison at home by 7 points.  Parker Paquin lead all scorers with 10 points, including two 3 pointers and 2 clutch free throws at the end of the game. Zaden Koepfle ran the offense, scored 9 points, and played outstanding defense on Madison’s best shooter.  Andy Marsh played awesome defense, caused a few turnovers, and pulled down several boards, and shot 2 for 2 from the line.   Trevor Hale had some nice passes and also hit a three pointer.

The middle school competitive cheer team attended the CCCAM scholarship invite at Michigan Center Friday and rocked the house.

Scoring the highest round 2 (114.02) and round 3 (263.10) of the whole competition, they finished with a 377.12 for a 1st place win out of 8 schools!

Our team competes Wednesday at Hillsdale High School at 6pm. Come cheer these young ladies on to victory!
