The 7th grade girls came away with a win tonight on their home court against the Hillsdale Hornets. Payton Edwards led the offense with 11 points. Isabelle Annon, Leah Boellner, and Addison Schmidt also contributed offensively. Grace Kent and Jessiyah Helminiak played aggressive defense and pressured the ball causing some turn overs. Tonight was a great team effort! The Lady Cats are back in action on Wednesday at home against Dundee.
After five days off in the gym due to weather, the girls came ready to play tonight. Tough defense by everyone created multiple scoring opportunities on the offensive end of the floor. The girls had three players score in double figures; Kayla Gerken (16 points), Hadley Ross (10 points), and Mattie Hallenbeck (10points). Lauren Terakedis also had a big night with 9 points including a three. Izzy Raglow, Emme VanZandt and Ella Ruttkofsky had multiple steals and played aggressive defense all night while Emily Durfey played tough on the boards. Great teamwork and unselfish play!
