Good Morning Onsted Middle School, Today is Tuesday , October 12th
The 8th grade Volleyball Team played Ida last night, seeking better results than the last meeting two weeks ago. In the first set, both teams came out serving strong with good O & D. The cats played tough, and with good teamwork were able to take it 25-22. In set two, Ida answered back, taking advantage of some passing challenges, that cost the cats points and allowed the Bluestreaks to move ahead 14-25. The last set on the night was another close one with a lot of hustle & determination, and the teams trading points until the last few minutes when Ida finished it, moving 3 pts ahead of the Ladycats 22-25. The girls worked hard and it showed!
Leading in serving were Hannah Hill 9pts, Karlie Kimerer 6pts, Lily Chamberlain 6pts, Ava Kurowski 5pts, & McKenna Szul 4pts. Great effort by all.
Tomorrow, the Lady cats will be home against Hilldale.
Good Luck to MS XC team as they travel to Madison HS to take part in an invite!
