Monday Only Announcement: Youth in Government meets Tuesdays during lunch. All delegates must attend these meetings to go to the conference. 

Tuesday Only Announcement: FCA during Lunches on Wednesdays

Wednesday Only Announcements: Chess Club will be meeting today from 3-4:15 in Mr. Lilienthal's room, A126. 

Wednesdays Only Announcement:  Mathcounts meets during Lunch on Thursdays

October 26 Announcement:  

We are excited to announce a new schedule for the OMS School Store this year!

The School Store will now be open once a month during Advisory for each grade level:

• Wednesdays – 5th & 6th Grade

• Thursdays – 7th & 8th Grade

School Store Dates:

• October 28 & 29

• The School Store will be located in the hallway near Mrs. Botts' classroom.

• November 18 & 19

• December 9 & 10

• January 27 & 28

• February 24 & 25

• March 17 & 18

• April 28 & 29

• May 19 & 20

Students: Before heading to the School Store, make sure you have written both your name and your grade level on each PBIS ticket you plan to spend. Tickets without this information may not be accepted.

Good Luck 7th and 8th grade Volleyball teams. They are traveling to Blissfield.

Attention September's Student of the Month recipients will need to report to the office to pick up your student of the month coupon.

The Wildcats put together another strong showing today at the Stockbridge Invitational, with some outstanding performances, personal bests, and another milestone in Onsted XC history!

Malachi Cunningham earned a medal, finishing 14th overall with a personal best of 12 minutes 48 minutes!

Madelyn Mullins finished 6th overall with a new personal best of 13 minutes 16 seconds, moving her into 5th place ALL-TIME for Onsted Middle School girls in the 2-mile!

We had several other great performances today!

* Wyatt Lowe – 14 Minutes and 35 Seconds
* Cameron Gast – 15 Minutes and 49 Seconds
* Lucy Kormos – 16 Minutes 08 Seconds
* Morgan Cattell – 18 Minutes and 16 Seconds

Season Bests:
* Hayden Jackson – 14 Minutes 38 Seconds 
* Lincoln Chamberlain – 16 Minutes 38 Seconds

Strong efforts across the board from Lilly Louden, Caleb LaBeau, Zayne Johnstone, and Justin Kirchner rounded out a great day of racing!

It's exciting to see the progress these kids continue to make as the season goes on. Whether they're setting records, running personal bests, or simply pushing themselves to improve, there's a lot to be proud of!

Great job, Wildcats!

The Book Fair starts today through Friday. Students will visit the Book Fair during their ELA class on the following days:

• Today: 5th Grade
• Tuesday: 6th Grade
• Wednesday: 7th Grade
• Thursday: 8th Grade
  The Book Fair will also be open later on Thursday until 5:00 PM.
• Friday: Final sale day

Student Voice will meet during Advisory on Thursday.  Make arrangements with your teachers and report to Mrs. Smith's classroom with your pencil and ideas.  Mrs. Sherman will cover Mrs. Smith's Advisory that day.

Come out and support the Class of 2034 and this year’s 5th graders at our 5th Grade Pumpkin Sale on Saturday, October 10th in front of the elementary school! All pumpkin sales will be by donation, and we’ll also have an additional bake sale with lots of delicious treats. Your support will help our 5th graders and make a difference for the class of 2034. We hope to see you there!

October is here, and that means it's time for Socktober! Throughout the month of October, Onsted Middle School will be collecting new pairs of socks to help those in need in our community.

Our building goal this year is 2,026 new pairs of socks. Every pair makes a difference, so let's work together to reach our goal!

Simply bring your new socks to your Advisory teacher anytime during the month of October. As a thank-you for helping others, every student who donates will receive a PBIS ticket from their teacher.

There's even more! At the end of the collection, Student Voice will hold a special drawing for everyone who donated at least one new pair of socks, giving you a chance to win a prize while making a difference.

Let's show what it means to be Wildcats by helping keep others warm this fall. Together, we can reach our goal of 2,026 pairs of socks!
