Monday Only Announcement: Youth in Government meets Tuesdays during lunch. All delegates must attend these meetings to go to the conference. 

Tuesday Only Announcement: FCA during Lunches on Wednesdays

Wednesday Only Announcements: Chess Club will be meeting today from 3-4:15 in Mr. Lilienthal's room, A126. 

Wednesdays Only Announcement:  Mathcounts meets during Lunch on Thursdays

October 26 Announcement:  

We are excited to announce a new schedule for the OMS School Store this year!

The School Store will now be open once a month during Advisory for each grade level:

• Wednesdays – 5th & 6th Grade

• Thursdays – 7th & 8th Grade

School Store Dates:

• October 28 & 29

• The School Store will be located in the hallway near Mrs. Botts' classroom.

• November 18 & 19

• December 9 & 10

• January 27 & 28

• February 24 & 25

• March 17 & 18

• April 28 & 29

• May 19 & 20

Students: Before heading to the School Store, make sure you have written both your name and your grade level on each PBIS ticket you plan to spend. Tickets without this information may not be accepted.

The Wildcats took on a huge field at the Jackson Invitational on Friday, with some of the toughest competition we’ve seen all season. We were short handed due to illness and Homecoming activities, so we didn’t have enough runners to record team scores, but those who competed turned in some great performances!

Madelyn Mullins led the girls with a new PR of 13 minutes and 26 seconds, earning a medal against a large and very competitive field. With so many strong runners and teams at this meet, earning a medal is a big accomplishment. Her performance also moves her up to #6 all-time in Onsted girls cross country history for the 2-mile!

Hadley Schaefer ran 15 minutes and 42 seconds, giving her a season best for the second time in just one week! Morgan Cattell finished in 20 minutes and 04.

On the boys side, Caleb LaBeau led Onsted with a new PR of 14 minutes and 35 seconds Raymond Platts finished in 15 minutes and 40 seconds, and Cameron Gast ran a 17 minute 2 mile.

Great job by all six Wildcats for stepping up, taking on a talented field, and representing Onsted well!

Good Luck to the girls Volleyball at the first home game against Ida.
