OMS Announcements, Monday, March 2, 2026

OMS Announcements, Monday, March 2, 2026

Announcements are by Lilly Pliska

As we continue celebrating Inclusion Week, tomorrow’s theme is Belonging Feels Like Comfort.

We invite everyone to wear what makes you feel comfortable! When we feel comfortable, we feel confident — & when we feel like we belong, our whole school community is stronger.

Let’s celebrate being ourselves & making sure everyone feels accepted & included.

The middle school wrestling team wrapped up their season on Saturday at JAWS. Every single wrestler went out there, competed hard, and left it all on the mat.

So proud of this group and the way they battled all season long.
Special shoutout to Carter Courington, Aaron Miller and Jakob Priest for going undefeated on Saturday's match ups!

Great way to finish the year!

Announcement for Tuesday, March 3

As part of Inclusion Week, tomorrow is Hats Off to Inclusion! Wear your favorite hat to celebrate inclusion & show that everyone belongs here at our school. Let’s tip our hats to friendship, kindness, & making our school a place where everyone feels welcome!

Announcement for Wednesday, March 4

As we continue celebrating Inclusion Week, tomorrow is United in Spirit & Acceptance Day! Show your school pride & wear your school colors as we celebrate being united, welcoming, & supportive of everyone in our school community. Together, we shine brighter when we include & accept each other!

Announcement for Thursday, March 5

As part of Inclusion Week, tomorrow is You Can’t Take it Back – Show Kindness Day!

Wear your shirt backwards to remind us that kind words & actions matter — once they’re said or done, you can’t take them back. Let’s celebrate spreading kindness & making our school a welcoming place for everyone!

Can’t wait to see all those backwards shirts around school!
