The 8th grade team competed with Madison last night on their home court as they hit the halfway point of their season. Although they fell short on the scoreboard, it was not due to lack of effort and hustle. Paisley Murphy and Delaynie Rumsey played tough under the basket and grabbed several rebounds for the Wildcats. Ellie Cannon and Paige Mathis were aggressive on the offensive end. Alex Tuttle ended the game with a three point shot to finish the scoring for Onsted. Next game is home in Wednesday against Hillsdale. Tip off is 6:30.

The 7th grade girls dropped a tough one tonight against an aggressive Madison team. Lilly Pliska led the offense with 6 points, while Karis Brogan added 5 and Amelia Fairbanks chipped in 2. Lilly Louden pushed the ball up the court and competed with great effort. Georgia Barth and McKenzie Dickinson provided strong help side presence and communication throughout the game. KateLyne Winters brought intensity on the defensive end, collecting a couple of steals. Miranda Parker and Trinadee Escott contributed positive energy and effort. We are back in action at home on Wednesday against Hillsdale!

Attention Teachers: We will have a number of 7th and 8th grade students absent today. Protocol for students not in your room is to mark them absent, even if you know where they are! Either Mrs. George or Mrs. Grulke will make corrections and school relate them.

Onsted Wildcats Trap Club member sign-up Sheets are now located in the office. All forms will need to be returned to the office by March 13th. Contact Coach Jared for any other questions.

This past weekend our middle school wrestling team traveled to Dundee for the Individual Tournament. We are so proud of all of our wrestlers who stepped on the mat and gave it their all!
