 Onsted Middle School Winter Formal 

Cupid’s Ball will be held on Saturday, February 21st, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in the OMS cafeteria and gym.

Tickets are $15 per person and must be pre-purchased — no tickets will be sold at the door. The cost includes admission and light snacks.

Tickets will be available for purchase before school in Mrs. Smith’s math classroom. No selling of tickets after 8am Friday Feb 20, unless prearranged with Mrs. Smith.

8th Grade FCA is rescheduled for today!

Attention all chemistry challenge students there will be a meeting in Miss Martell’s room at lunch today. Please bring your lunch thank you.

 OCRC Spring Soccer registration will close on February 23rd, so be sure to sign up before the deadline. For more information, flyers will be in the office.

The 7th grade girls won their home opener tonight against Hudson! Leading the way was Lilly Pliska with 10 points and McKenzie Dickinson with 8. It was a true team win fueled by great energy and spirit, not only from the players, but also from the crowd. KateLyne Winters and Georgia Barth hustled all night, Lilly Louden knocked down a big three, and Karis Brogan along with Amelia Fairbanks showed quick movement and scoring off the press. Miranda Parker, Sophie King, and Trinadee Escott played with confidence, helping round out a complete team effort. We are back in action at home on Monday against Madison! Huge thanks to the JV & Varsity Basketball Program for the awesome cheering section! 

Although we came up short on the scoreboard, our team showed incredible defensive teamwork throughout the game. From the very beginning, the girls. communicated well and helped each other on defense. Stylar Ross played tough all game and showed a lot of hustle.

 Offensively, we had several girls contribute for the Wildcats. Ella Arnold, Paige Mathis, Paisley Murphy, Stylar Ross, and Delaynie Rumsey all put points on the board.

While the final score didn’t go our way, the defensive effort and teamwork were something to be proud of. A big thank you to the boisterous crowd of middle schoolers and our high school girls teams for coming to cheer us on! 

We return to action on Monday at home against Madison. Tip off at 6:30. Hope to see you there!
