Talent Show practice begins this week.
The 8th grade girls traveled to Blissfield on Monday and came away with a victory! Everyone contributed in the matchup, showing great teamwork on both ends of the floor. The players shared the ball well on offense and backed each other up defensively, making it tough for the Royals to score. Ella Arnold and Ellie Cannon directed the offense while Delaynie Rumsey controlled the boards. Paisley Murphy had a strong game on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court. Solid defense by Lillian Bittinger, Styler Ross, Alex Tuttle, Jessa Frederick and Paige Mathis made the difference and led to a well-earned victory. The girls travel to Hillsdale on Wednesday.
The 7th Grade Lady Cats fell short against an aggressive Blissfield team on Monday night. Karis Brogan, Amelia Fairbanks, and Lilly Pliska led the way offensively. KateLyne Winters and Miranda Parker brought high energy and helped create turnovers on the defensive end. Lilly Louden and McKenzie Dickinson played strong help side defense, protecting the paint. Sophie King, Georgia Barth, and Trinadee Escott worked hard all game, consistently showing great effort and teamwork. We are back in action on Wednesday at Hillsdale. Keep working hard!
Onsted Middle School Winter Formal – Cupid’s Ball! Get ready, Wildcats! Cupid’s Ball is coming to OMS! Join us for a fun-filled evening of music, dancing, and time with friends at our Winter Formal. Cupid’s Ball will be held on Saturday, February 21st, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in the OMS cafeteria and gym.
Tickets are $15 per person and must be pre-purchased — no tickets will be sold at the door. The cost includes admission and light snacks.
Tickets will be available for purchase before school in Mrs. Smith’s math classroom beginning Monday, February 9th.
Mark your calendars and don’t miss this special winter event. We can’t wait to see you there, Wildcats!
