Announcements are by Haileigh Helminiak & Carter Holtzbauer

There will be open gym next Tuesday, January 13 and next Thursday, January 15th for any 7th or 8th grade girl interested in playing basketball this season. Open gym will be from 3:00-4:30 in the elementary gym. This will be open gym only and will not affect tryouts. 

Tryouts will begin Tuesday, January 20, from 3:00 -4:30 in the elementary gym. Please make sure you have your physical turned in prior to tryouts.

6th and 8th-grade MathCounts participants, for January, we will meet in Mrs. Smith's math classroom from 3:00 to 4:00 on Wednesdays to prepare for our upcoming competition. If you have questions, see Mrs. Marsh or Mrs. Smith.

Chess club will begin next Wed the 14th in cafeteria. If there are any other students wanting to join, See Mr. Lilienthal.

Great job everyone during the Wildcat Team assembly on Wednesday. Each teacher would like to recognize a student from their team that has really showcased the three Rs of respect, responsibility, and resilience during our team meetings. If your name is called, please come to the office after announcements to receive a ticket. 

Before we say the Pledge of Allegiance today, please pay attention to this announcement. The title is called "The Pledge of Allegiance." When you actually say it, you say I Pledge Allegiance. You do not say I pledge of allegiance. So everyone practice with your class today: I Pledge Allegiance. 

Please stand to honor America with the Pledge of Allegiance.

(Wait 3 secs before before starting the pledge.) "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
