Good morning OMS!

The Onsted MS XCountry team ran on Friday. The Girls finished in 2nd Place out of 8 teams and 43 runners, with a strong 4th place finish and a Top 10 medal for Stylar Ross. All of Onsted’s Top 6 Girls ran in the Top 20, which includes Samarah Huffman, Ella Arnold, Lilly Louden, Mattison Ruttkofsky, and Hadley Schaefer. Those who broke personal best records from last year were Adelynn McConeghy and Cara Campo.

The Boys finished in 4th Place, with 2 Top 10 medalists in Zander Springer and Noah Jackson. Also finishing in the Top 6 for Onsted were Zayne Johnstone and Carter Elliott, both running their first Cross Country race, and Carter Holtzbauer and Tyler Hosler, who broke their personal best times from last year's meet. Justin Kirchner and Roman Lukasik also broke personal best times from last year's meet, adding to the impressive showing on the day.

We’re looking for students to join the Student Voice Team. If you’ve already signed up, check your email for the application are due Today.

Still time to join OMS yearbook. See Mrs. Smith in 8th grade math for an application. They’re due by Wednesday, September 18th.

Youth and Government meeting will be Thursday during 7th and 8th grade lunches in Ms Sherman's room.
