Announcements are by Lydia Sutherland

The OMS Girls Track Team traveled to Ida Tuesday night to compete against the Bluestreaks.  After delay due to a storm, the teams were finally able to out on the track.  In the field events Ellie Cannon took a first and McKenzie Dickinson a second in the Pole Vault.  Cheyanne Szymchack took second in the Shot Put.

In running events, the 4X400 relay team of Samarah Huffman, Maggie Springer, Lillian James, and Stylar Ross, placed first.
Ross took a second in the 800m , and Alaina Parker placed second in the 55 Hurdles.
Third place finishes were taken by Elsie Rutledge, Maggie Springer, and Jordyn Adams . 

Boys track team ran away with a 95 - 39 point victory!

Coaching staff  are super proud of the grit and determination of all the athletes who gave their very best to rise up and continue improving their performance !

Also...Today is the last book check out day for 6th and 7th graders.  Please make sure that if you still have books out from the library that you think about getting them in within the next two weeks. Please see Mrs. Permoda if you have questions about books that are still out.
