The OMS Girls Track Team traveled to Ida Tuesday night to compete against the Bluestreaks.  After delay due to a storm, the teams were finally able to out on the track.  In the field events Ellie Cannon took a first and McKenzie Dickinson a second in the Pole Vault.  Cheyanne Szymchack took second in the Shot Put.

In running events, the 4X400 relay team of Samarah Huffman, Maggie Springer, Lillian James, and Stylar Ross, placed first.
Ross took a second in the 800m , and Alaina Parker placed second in the 55 Hurdles.
Third place finishes were taken by Elsie Rutledge, Maggie Springer, and Jordyn Adams . 

Boys track team ran away with a 95 - 39 point victory!

Coaching staff  are super proud of the grit and determination of all the athletes who gave their very best to rise up and continue improving their performance !

Formal Dance is set for May 16 (6-8:30pm) This is a Friday and more information will be coming.

The OMS Girls Track Team competed against Clinton Thursday night in their first home meet and came out ahead 60-57.

Maggie Springer was a double winner (800M & 1600R). Other first place finishers were Jordyn Adams (55H), Lydia Sutherland (Shot), Elsie Rutledge (HJ), Ellie Cannon (PV), Alaina Parker (LJ), Samarah Huffman (1600R), Lillian James (1600R), Stylar Ross (1600R), and the 4x200 relay team of Katelyn Winters, Sophia Welzin, Lilly Pliska, & Amelia Fairbanks.

Second places included Rutledge (100M), Sutherland (1600M), Ross (400M), Winters (70M), Cannon (800M),James (200M), & McKenzie Dickinson (PV).

Third place finishers were Fairbanks (100M & 70M), Cannon (400 M), Imm (200M), Szymchack (Shot), Adams (HJ), & Welzin (LJ).

A Message from Onsted HS Girls Basketball Head Coach:
Attention all current 8th grade girls that are interested in playing basketball next year in HS: there will be a short informational meeting today, Thursday April 24th from 3:10pm-3:20pm in the HS team room. If you are unable to attend or want more information please contact Coach Jon.

Attention 8th Graders - The salmon trip is tomorrow.! Bring rain gear in case of rain showers. If you do not have your permission slip in by TODAY, you will not be going tomorrow.

Formal Dance is set for May 16 (6-8:30pm) This is a Friday and more information will be coming.

The 3rd Incentive is scheduled during 1st and 2nd hours. We will call you down when ready.
