OMS yearbook needs pictures of middle schoolers in action. If you have photos of your clubs in action, athletes in action, students in action, etc. please share them with Mrs. Smith.
Yearbook staff will be taking club group pictures as follows:
*Student Voice and Yearbook on Thursday, March 13th during advisory.
*Mathcounts on Friday, March 14th during advisory (Mathcounts team please wear your team shirts Friday.)
*8th Grade FCA on Wednesday, March 19th during our lunch meeting.
8th graders and parents: This years' yearbook staff would like to include 8th grade baby pictures in our book. We need your help. Please share a baby picture (under age 5) with Mrs. Smith (smith.h@onstedschools.us). These can be digital photos or the actual photo (you will get them back). When sharing your photo be sure to include 8th graders full name for identification purposes. These photos are needed before spring break.

Attention: boys interested in Track and Field.
There will be a meeting on March 17th after school at 3:15, next monday. Packets will be handed out at this time. Boys can sign up with Mr. Hubbard.
Attention: girls interested in Track, there is a sign-up sheet in the middle school office. The season will begin on Monday March 31st with practices daily from 3:15 to 4:30pm, and meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You must have a current physical on file to participate, and come prepared for the weather.
The 8th grade girls played tough on their home court in their final middle school game. From the first practice to the final game, each player worked hard to develop their skills, build confidence and learn valuable lessons about teamwork.
Beyond the scoreboard, this season was about development-both as teammates and as individuals. Every player contributed to the TEAM through hard-work, hustle and energy.
Great season ladies! Best of luck to Mason, Jordyn, Annabelle, Maggie, Maddy, Delilah, Alaina, Lydia, Jessica, Claire, and Brynn. Proud of each and every one of you!
The 7th Grade Lady Cats finished their season tonight with a hard fought loss to the Hudson Tigers. Ellie Cannon, Ella Arnold, Paisley Murphy, and Delaynie Rumsey were all contributors on offense. This season was full of heart, hustle, and dedication. This team has made great strides. These 7th graders came to practice every day ready to work hard and get better. Thank you to all of the girls for your hard work and fun, positive attitudes! Looking forward to watching you learn and grow your love for the game of basketball. Go Cats!
Any girls interested in wrestling, the Irish Hills Grapplers will be starting practices on Tuesday’s right here at Onsted from 6-7:30pm. This is an ALL girls wrestling club for grades K-12. Think you might be interested or maybe just want to hear more information? The first practice will be today, March 11th.
