In honor of Winter Homecoming, your OMS student voice team would like to encourage you to participate in spirit week next week.  

     MONDAY:  MLK Day...No School...Enjoy staying in your pajamas at home.

     TUESDAY:  Dynamic Duo Day (a.k.a. Twin Day)

     WEDNESDAY:  Wacky Wednesday

     THURSDAY:  Teacher/Student Reversal Day (students dress like your teachers/teachers

             dress like your students)

     FRIDAY:  Team Spirit (Wear Onsted Colors)

Student Voice will be selling suckers at lunch next week.  Suckers will be available Thursday and Friday (January 23 & 24).  Color Exploders will sell for $1 each.  Caramel Apple suckers will sell for $0.50 each.  Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to help purchase our own DJ equipment for middle school dances.

Would you like to go horseback riding along the beaches of an ancient lake? Ziplining through the canopies of a rainforest? What about white water rafting down the Balsa River?  Come check out all of the exciting details for Onsted on the Go’s 2026 trip to Costa Rica this TUESDAY, JANUARY 21 at 6:00 in the high school media center. We will be discussing the trip itinerary and cost, as well as fundraising and scholarship opportunities. We hope to see you there! This trip is for all middle schoolers.

2nd incentive will be on January 31 for Skating at Arrington Ice Arena. If you have any questions on your attendance, get those questions to the office by this friday. 

To qualify for incentive you must :

- Have no more than one disciplinary (Blue Sheet) referral since Nov. 4th.

- No out/in school Suspension since November 4th.

- Have less than 3 countable absences since Nov 4th (7 tardies= 1 absence)

- Have grades of a C- or better in all classes.
