Today's announcements are by Lydia Sutherland and Sofia Teske

Your Student Voice team will be selling suckers during lunches on Fridays (tomorrow and next week).  Caramel Apple suckers will be $0.50 and Color Exploder suckers will be $1.00.  Buy a sucker and help support your Student Voice team in their efforts to help make OMS a great place to be.

Mrs. Smith needs to see Fiona Anderson, Lilly Louden, Sofia Teske, Cain Szymchack, Zander Springer, Noah Jackson, Mason Brogan, Maggie Springer, Madalyn Schultz, Wesley Garrison, Lydia Sutherland, and Ava Snyder immediately after announcements in her classroom.

7th grade won an exciting game last night The boys were leading in scoring by Kellen Kimbrell with 14 and Brycen Lamb with 8 points. Eli Bartha, Trammell Valasek, and Abel Kopka played fantastic defense for the Wildcats. Levi Cabla and Zander Springer played with excellent energy as well. A great team win!

Onsted 8th grade boys basketball won a tough home game against Hillsdale by 4 points in overtime.  Jacob Hill led all Onsted scorers with 12 points, but most importantly controlled the game with his smart decision making and ball handling.  Owen Gemalsky scored 11 points, shut down the opponent’s best player holding him to 0 points in the second half, got some key steals and layups that ignited a fourth quarter comeback.  Armani Fedd and Jeremy Walters both played outstanding defense, dove on the floor and out of bounce for loose balls, and attacked the basket offensively. 

Attention all 8th graders who participated in the candle fundraiser...candle order pick-up is this Saturday from 9 to 10 am in the middle school cafeteria.  Please make arrangements to be here to pick up your orders.
