The Onsted MS Cross Country team ran in great weather at the Hudson Booster Invite on Saturday.
The Onsted Boys raced to a 5th place finish out of 36 teams. Wesley Garrison, Alex Hunt, and Ryker Tornow all finished with medals. Also finishing with a medal was John Pfeffer who finished 36th and set a new personal best record for his efforts. Also scoring for the boys team was Malachi Cunningham who almost broke his personal best time. Others who broke personal best times were Aiden Pliska, Tyler Hosler, and Oliver McMichael.
The Onsted Girls finished 13th out of 36 teams, with a couple of new personal best times. Maggie Springer finished in 43rd place, medaled and set a new personal best time in a hard fought race. Also scoring for the girls were Ella Arnold, Karis Brogan, and Adelynn McConeghy. Lilly Louden also scored for the team and established a new personal best time for the season.
The next race for the Onsted MS Cross Country team is the Madison Invite in Adrian on Tuesday.

Onsted homecoming is next week.  OMS will be holding spirit week next week to show our support.   The theme for the week is Games.  Each day OMS students are encouraged to dress to represent different games.  The games and dress themes are:

Tuesday:  Twister...Mismatch or Anything but a water bottle day.  Dress so that things don't match or bring your water to school in "anything but a water bottle.".

Wednesday:  Cranium...Athletes vs. Academics Day...dress as an athlete or an academic.
Thursday:  Video Games...Dress to represent your favorite video game or video game character.
Friday:  Battleship...Battle of the grades...Which grade can dress showing the most Onsted Spirit?
Please remember all dress attire should follow school dress code and not be too distracting.
