Today's announcements are brought to you by Ava Snyder and Zander Springer.
We will meet with our Wildcat Teams again today during Advisory. Students should go to Advisory first, and then be dismissed to teams.
6th grade boy/girl interested in playing basketball need to get their forms turned in by today!
Saturday cross country team will be running at the Lenawee Co Meet @ Gerber Park and also on Saturday the volleyball Teams will be at Madison for the LCAA Tournament.
The Onsted MS Cross Country team ran hard against a competitive field of teams at the Sand Creek Invitational, with half the team setting new personal best times and receiving a total of 13 medals.
For the Boys, it was tight in scoring with Onsted finishing in 4th behind Napoleon and Blissfield by just 3 points. Alex Hunt finished in 6th place, followed by Wesley Garrison, John Pfeffer, Ryker Tornow, Aiden Pliska, and Chase Goldbach who all finished with medals and broke personal best times. Zander Springer also received a medal for his efforts, while Oliver McMichael and Carter Holtzbauer set new personal best times.
For the Girls, it was a close one finishing in 4th place by 5 points. Stylar Ross finished in 3rd place, followed by Maggie Springer who set a new personal best time as both medaled on a nice day for running. Ella Arnold also received a medal for her hard work, followed by Karis Brogan, Lilly Louden, and Lilly Pliska who all finished with new personal best times and medaled.
Great job Cats! Next up for the Onsted MS Cross Country team is a race on Saturday against Lenawee County teams at Gerber Park in Blissfield.
At the beginning of 8th grade lunch today, Coach Scholz will be here to talk to any 8th grade boy interested in basketball.
