 OMS Announcements, Thursday, September 26,  2024

The 7th grade volleyball team traveled to Blissfield last night to take on the Royals. The first set just barely slipped away with a 23-25 loss followed by a 15-25 loss in the second set. But the wildcats came out on top with a score of 25-19 to take the third set for their first win of the season! Awesome job cats!

The Volleyball teams traveled to Blissfield tonight to complete against the Royals. The cats came close in the last set, but the Royals held them off taking all sets on the night. Scores were 8-25, 10-25, and 20-25. High Scorer on the night was Jordyn Adams.  The team travels to Hudson Monday to take on the Tigers. Keep working!

The OMS Student Voice Team will have their first meeting tomorrow morning at 7:45 in Mrs. Smith's classroom. 

Applications are available in Mrs. George and Mrs. Anderson's office for students that are interested in becoming a member of Kiwanis Builders Club. 

 

Kiwanis Builders Club is an international student-led organization providing members with opportunities to perform service, build character, and develop leadership skills. 

 

The club has a one-time enrollment period with limited amount of space available.  If the club exceeds the amount of space available, we will then place all of the applicant’s names into a lottery. 

 

Please note that becoming a member is a yearlong commitment and all meetings are held after school. 

 

Applications are due tomorrow. 

Youth in Government will meet today during lunch. 7th grade in Mr. L's room; 8th grade in Sherman's. Beginning next week, we will meet every Tuesday and Thursday during lunch. There won't be an announcement; you need to be responsible.
