The Onsted Middle School Cross Country team did amazing in the hot weather today at the Onsted Park, with both boy's and girl's teams finishing in 3rd place.
For the Boys, both Wesley Garrison and Alex Hunt finished in the top 10 with John Pfeffer finishing 14th, establishing new seasonal records in the process. In 20th position was Chase Goldbach, who broke his personal best time amongst 70 runners. Aiden Pliska, Zander Springer, Noah Jackson, Justin Kirchner, and Roman Lukasik also finished with new seasonal and personal best times.
For the Girls, Stylar Ross ran hard and finished in 1st place with a new personal best time. Maggie Springer finished 9th and Ella Arnold finished in 16th and broke her personal best time by over a minute. Lilly Louden and Lydia Sutherland finished out the scoring for the girls team, and Cara Campo broke her personal best time.

Next up for the Onsted Middle School Cross Country team is a meet in Jackson at Ella Sharp Park on Friday that features 21 teams!
The 8th grade Volleyball Team traveled to Ida Wednesday to take on the Bluestreaks. Although we fought hard, Ida’s strong serving and offense overpowered the cats for a match win 25-10, 25-10 & 25-12 on the night. The girls continue to show improvement and will be at home next Monday hosting Madison.
The MS Football team played tough and coaches are proud of the progress they are making. Although we lost the games, the coaches seen a lot of positives out of it!
