The Onsted MS XCountry team ran through mixed conditions at the last meet of the season at Hudson for the MHSAA Regional meet, where 234 total runners and 16 teams competed.
The Onsted Girls finished in 6th place overall. Klair Baker ran great finishing in 12th place, followed by Alana Ramsey who finished 28th and broke her seasonal best time. Those who broke their personal best times were Samarah Huffman and Stylar Ross. Maggie Springer was the last top 5 scorer for the Onsted Girls, finishing strong at the end.
The Onsted Boys ran tough as the rain began to fall. Garrett Smith placed 24th and broke his seasonal best time by 20 seconds. John Pfeffer finished in 38th place, while Zander Springer finished in 69th and broke his personal best time. Noah Jackson also broke his personal best time, and Aiden Pliska finished out the top 5 scorers for the Onsted Boys. Also for the boys, Oliver McMichael improved by 40 seconds, setting a new personal best time for the season.
It was a great season for all. Appreciate all your hard work and determination throughout the season. Coach Hall is proud of you and will see you all at the party on Wednesday! Go Wildcats!
