The OMS Girls Track Team had their last regular dual meet Thursday night at home against Hudson, and came out on top 89-31.
First place finishes were taken by the 4x800m relay team of Klair Baker, Payton Edwards, Alana Ramsey, & Aubrie Schonfeld, the 4x200m relay of Emme VanZandt, Mattie Hallenbeck, Chloe Gemalsky, & Hadley Ross, the 4x100m relay of Lilian Briggs, Avery Parks, Addison Thompson, & VanZandt, and the 4x400m relay of Ross, Selena Spicer, Ramsey, & VanZandt. Individual firsts were taken by Hallenbeck (Long Jump & 55 Hurdles), Braelyn Valasek (Shot Put), Briggs (100m &200m), Baker (1600m & 800m), and Ross (400m). There were also many 2nd & 3rd place finishes. Great job!
The last meet of the season will be on Monday at IDA.

Attention eighth graders! Mrs. Marsh and Mrs. Wetherby are looking for students who are interested in serving as camp counselors this fall for Sixth Grade Camp. Camp runs September 20 - 22, 2023. Please check your email for a link to the application. Applications are due by June 4.
2023 Onsted Girls Basketball Summer Skills Youth Camp: Open registration until Day 1 of camp. Forms are located in the office if you are interested.
Dates: Monday June 5th, Tuesday June 6th, Wednesday June 7th
Time: 11:30-1:30 each day
Location: Onsted High School Gym
Onsted Girls: Grades 4-8th(grades of Fall 2023)
Cost: $50

Student Council applications can be picked up in Mr. Arnold's classroom and are due by Monday.
The following students need to come to Mrs. Smith's classroom immediately following announcements.... Lydia Sutherland, Alissa Tennyson, Destiny Miller, Caleb Savage, Lena Marsh, and Caedin Harris.
OMS yearbooks have arrived and were distributed to student who pre-ordered yesterday. If you didn't receive a yearbook and would like one, we have a few extra. Mrs. Smith will be selling them in her classroom on a first come first served basis starting Monday. They are $30 and available until they are gone.
After announcements, all girls going on the DC trip need to report to Mrs. Smith's room...bring a pencil.
