The 8th grade Volleyball Team traveled to Dundee on Saturday to close out the season at the LCAA Tournament. In the first match against Columbia Central, sets one & two were split, but set three & the match went to Onsted. In the second match against Ida, the Ladycats took the opponents out in two, which earned a spot in the top bracket against an undefeated Clinton team. Both teams battled , but the opponents strong serving & floor play led them to a match win. This completed the day with a 2nd place finish, and bringing home the runner-up trophy! Great job ladies both today and on the season! Best of luck in future years!

The Onsted MS XCountry team traveled to Hudson under great weather to compete against 24 other teams for their last meet of the season!
The Onsted Boys finished in 10th place, with Nicklas Holmes, Wesley Garrison, and Garrett Smith finishing within 16 seconds of each other amongst 216 total runners. Jack Tessier and Alex Hunt filled out the rest of Onsted's Top 5 finishers, with Jack recording a new personal best time. Others who set new personal records were Xander Lewis, Joel Sniegowski, and John Pfeffer.
The Onsted Girls finished in 13th place, with Izzy Raglow leading the girls with a 39th place finish. Mattie Hallenbeck finished 49th and set a new personal best time. The rest of Onsted's Top 5 finishers among 169 runners were Alana Ramsey, Jaelyn Gwinner, and Chloe Gemalsky. For seasonal best times, Emily Durfey finished off her season by beating her time.
It was a great season for all our Onsted MS XCountry Runners! They worked hard and fought through every race and weather condition. Coach Hall is very proud of all of you and what you have accomplished this season! GO WILDCATS!!!
