Happy PJ Day! Tomorrow is Beach theme!
The 7th and 8th grade Volleyball Team competed in the Michigan Center Tourney on Saturday. The 8th grade Ladycats came out of pool play in 2nd place (of 6 teams) In bracket play against Columbia, the Cats finished with a 2-1 record on the day.
Everyone contributed and top servers were Avery Hively, Lauren Terakedis, Kayla Gerken, Annie Moore, and Ella Ruttkofsky.
The 7th grade girls played Columbia Central and Addison in pool play. The girls came out of pool play in 4th place and faced Addison in the quarter finals.
The girls are back at it again today on the road against the Ida Bluestreaks. Go cats!
The Onsted MS XCountry team ran hard in frigid morning temps on Saturday and improved on the season at the Hudson Booster Invite.
The Onsted Boys finished 10th overall out of 41 competing schools and 270 runners. Nicklas Holmes, finishing 34th, and Wesley Garrison, finishing 52nd, received medals in the Top 60. Other team scorers were Alex Hunt and Brendan Holmes. Jack Tessier and Joel Sniegowski broke their personal best time.
The Onsted Girls finished 11th overall, finishing among 202 runners. Finishing in the Top 60 for medals, Izzy Raglow finished 19th with a new seasonal best time and Alana Ramsey finished 53rd with a new personal best time. Other team scorers for Onsted who also broke personal best times were Mattie Hallenbeck, Jaelyn Gwinner and Chloe Gemalsky.
Next up for the Onsted MS XCountry team is the Sand Creek MS Invite on Thursday! GO CATS!
