Good Morning Onsted Middle School, Today is ThursdaySeptember 22, 2022

The 8th grade Volleyball team took on Ida Wednesday night at home. The first & second sets were taken by Ida for a match win, but the cats came back and claimed set three to show improvement over the first match of the season two days ago. Top server on the night was Lauren Terakedis with 15 points. Also scoring for the Wildcats were Annie Moore, Kayla Gerken, Avery Hively, Ella Ruttkofsky, Hadley Ross, and Ruby Helinski. Keep working ladies!
The Onsted 7th grade volleyball team hosted the Ida Bluestreaks tonight. The girls worked hard but lost the first set 14-25. In the second set they battled back and forth and won 26-24. The girls then fell in the last set 2-25. The cats are back at it again at home on Tuesday against Hillsdale.

The Onsted MS XCountry team ran well at home at the Village Park, with new personal bests and plenty of medalists.
The Onsted MS Boys team finished 4th out of 10 teams. Nicklas Holmes, Garrett Smith, Jack Tessier, and Brendan Holmes all beat personal bests and received medals. Elijah Huffman also received a medal and finished in 8th place.
The Onsted MS Girls team finished in 5th place out of 10, with all the Onsted Girls finishing with medals! Izzy Raglow, Mattie Hallenbeck, Jaelyn Gwinner, Chloe Gemalsky, and Presley Holmes all received medals. Alana Ramsey won herself a medal in 12th place, but also broke her personal best.
Big shout out to Coach Hall for putting on another fantastic race for our student athletes!!
Next meet for the Onsted MS XCountry team is Friday at Ella Sharp Park! Go WILDCATS!!!

8th grade football team defeated Hillsdale Wednesday night 17-11. Bryce Adams and Connor Kish scored 3 long TD's and the defense stopped the last drive of Hillsdale inside the Onsted 25. Lucas Arnold picked off their final pass. The team is now 2-0 and will host Hudson next week.

the 7th grade won by scoring points however the rules of middle school game the official score they ended up losing! Boys played a good game
