 Good Morning Onsted Middle School, Today is Monday, May 2 2022

-"Hey, Wild Cat fans.  Tomorrow, Tuesday, is the deadline for the Omega Days T Shirt drawing Contest.  Get 'er done!"

-On May 20th Onsted HS will be hosting physicals for the 2022-2023 school year! If you are planning on playing sports at Onsted next year, a physical will be needed to participate and this is a great opportunity to get one! The money raised from the physicals will go to support Ben and the Athletic Training Department.

Time: 4:30pm-7pm

Cost: $15 Checks payable to Onsted Schools

-The Track Teams traveled to Columbia last Thursday to take on the Eagles.  The warmer weather was an aid in better performances which led to a 64-51 win on the night.  Leading the way for the Ladycats with first place finishes were Mattie Hallenbeck in the 55 hurdles, Reagan Brosamer 1600 run & 200 hurdles, Emme VanZandt 70 meters, Emma Grulke 800 meters, & Addisan Thompson long jump.  The 3200 relay team of Izzy Raglow, Aubrie Schonfeld, Emma Grulke, & Raegan Brosamer, the 800 relay team of Emme VanZandt, Sophia Priest, Ruby Helinski, & Hadley Ross, and the 1600 relay team of Izzy Raglow, Emma Grulke, Mattie Hallenbeck, & Hadley Ross all took firsts.  In addition there were multiple 2nd & 3rd place finishes.  Great job ladies! Next meet will be run at Hillsdale on Tuesday May 3rd.

The Boys that placed:

1st Finishers: Kaven Sunquist, Keegan Grey, Declan Seegert, Parker Briggs, Elijah Huffman, Mason Chesser, Carson Garrison, Zach Taylor, Hunter VanZandt, Cole Wells, Bryce Adams, Connor Kish and Jonah McKelvey.

2nd Place Finishes: Connor Kish, Nick Holmes, Elijah Huffman, Mason Chesser, Carson Shadbolt, Drake Bosse

3rd palace finishes: Jonah McKelvey, Kaidence Crowell, Cole Wells.

- Last Friday there were a pair of glasses turned into the office.

Birthdays:

Keegan Ratz, Jordyn Briley and Emmett Miller has a Summer Birthday on June 28.

For all current 6th through 11th graders who wish to participate in a sport for the 2022-2023 school year! Physical forms are available in the High School athletic office and must be signed by a parent/guardian before proceeding through the physical on May 20th!! If you can't make it on May 20th, there will be another opportunity to get a physical at Adrian College Marillat Sports and Fitness Center on June 10th from 1:00-3:45pm.
