Daily Announcements Tuesday, February 8, 2022

Good Morning Onsted Middle School, Today is Tuesday, February 8, 2022

After several days off due to snow, the seventh grade team started their week and first home game off with a total team effort to defeat the Hillsdale Hornets. All ten girls contributed to the win and showed great hustle and communication. Izzy Raglow, Lauren Terakedis, Hadley Ross, Kayla Gerken, Mattie Hallenbeck and Ella Ruttkofsky all scored for the Wildcats. Defensively, Birdee Mayse, Ruby Helinski, Emily Durfey and Olivia Lowe grabbed key rebounds and caused several jump balls to help the team.

The 8th grade ladies picked up a nice win over Hillsdale by a score of 14-12 behind great hustle and help defense.

Hannah Hill led the scoring with 10 points and Jaylen Lambka added 9 points. The birthday girl Sydney Keefe & Raegan Brosamer also added baskets to help out. Alexis Edwards and Aubreigh Smith did a good job controlling the paint and getting rebounds.

The girls are back in action on Wednesday at home versus Dundee. --
