Good Morning Onsted Middle School, Today is Thursday, October 14th
Attention XC team members and teachers. Today at 1:15 I will be dismissing the team early to travel to SandCreek due to bus driver shortages.
The MS football teams hosted a very tough Clinton program and came up short on the scoreboard for both contests.
The 7th grade started slow but played a much better 2nd half, losing by the score on the board of 8-9. Connor Kish scored on an 82 yard touchdown pass from Lucas Arnold. The 2 point conversion that followed was on a pass from Lucas Arnold to Aiden Schmidt.
In the 8th grade game, the Wildcats just could not get anything going consistently, losing by the score of 0-18.
The middle school FB teams are now 5-3 on the season and will travel to Blissfield next week to end the season.
The 8th grade Volleyball Team had their last home match of the season Wednesday night against the Hillsdale Hornets. The combination of effort & teamwork paid off as the Ladycats claimed 2/3 sets for the match win with scores of 25-16, 25-10 & 20-25.
Leading the way for the cats were Karlie Kimerer with 13 points, Lily Chamberlain with 9 points, Ava Kurowski with 8 points, and Hannah Hill with 5 points. Also scoring were McKenna Szul, Megan Hunt, Sydney Keefe, and Alexis Edwards. Great job tonight!
Going into the last week of the season, the girls will be on the road starting Monday at Hudson.
We need these students to room B154 room by cafeteria after announcements: Raegan Brosamer, Grant Cross, Logan Cullen, Gavin Nichols, Sofia Priest, Miranda Ramsey, Landen Thompson.
