7th grade FCA members we will meet today, during lunch.

Winter soccer clinic flyers are located in the office. 

Onsted 8th grade boys basketball team beat Hudson at home by 19 points.  The leading scorers in the game were Jacob Hill and Wesley Garrison with 10 points each.  Alex Moore had 8 points, Dustin Six 5 points, Xavier Emery 4 points, Aiden Pliska 3 points, and Elijah Hall, Jeremy Walters, Owen Gemalski, and John Pfeffer each scoring as well.  Brendon Cannon and Armani Fedd played intense defense, Alex Hunt and Mason Jacobs-Lowe pulled down several rebounds.  It was a total team effort to cap a very successful season, ending as LCAA league champions.  Congratulations!

7th grade played their hearts out in the finale tonight. The ‘cats dropped a tough one against a scrappy and athletic Hudson team. Our leading scorers included Kellen Kimbrell, Josh Rosenthal, and Eli Bartha tonight. Levi Cabla continued his excellent growth this season displaying tough defense. Brycen Lamb and Zander Springer attacked the hoop consistently tonight! Abel Kopka and Nate Gust proved to be gutsy around the glass and secured some important rebounds. Trammell Valasek, Jovani Fedd and Tate Theisen provided our team with great hustle tonight pouncing on any loose balls and second chance opportunities. The growth each of these boys displayed from the beginning of the year to now was awesome to see. Keep working hard boys!

Good Luck OMS Competitive Cheer team. They will head to Hudson.

Call Backs for the Spring production "Little Mermaid" are now rescheduled for this coming Thursday, tomorrow, 12/19 from 3-5pm. Students who are required for callback have been contacted. This Friday, the 20th, a complete cast list will be posted in the cafeteria of middle school . We will also post a link to the google classroom where students can access any info they'll need for the remainder of the production. There will be cast meeting in January where we will meet with students and parents of all cast members and everyone will receive scripts and more info then.

The Onsted 8th grade boys basketball team beat Blissfield by 16 points, at Blissfield.  Leading all scorers for the Cats was Owen Gemalsky with 12 points.  But most importantly, Owen held Blissfield’s leading scorer to 2 points.  Other scorers were Jacob Hill with 10 points, Alex Hunt with 9 point, including a 3 pointer, Elijah Hall with 6 points, including a 3 pointer, Cade Symington with 4 points, including a bank is open 3 pointer, Wesley Garrison with 4 points, and Brenden Cannon with 4 points and a couple steals.   Aiden Pliska also played tough defense, and got some gutty rebounds.  As represented by how many players scored, it was a total team effort.  

7th grade lost a close one to Blissfield. Leading in scoring was Josh Rosenthal, Kellen Kimbrell and Tate Theisen. Levi Cabla stepped up in a major way and played his best game of the year. Home finale Wednesday with Hudson.

Band Holiday Concert is tonight @ 7pm, doors open at 6:40. Come and support the band program.

The onsted Ms competitive cheer team traveled to Michigan Center for CCCAM scholarship invitational.

It was the girls first time competing after 2 cancelled league meets and they landed themselves a 2 place spot! With a round 2 score of 119.28 and a round 3 score of 266.3!

Looking forward to getting back to work and coming out swinging at our huge Home competition on 12/21! Come out to support these hard working ladies. Loud and proud!

Yearbook Staff...We will be meeting Thursday morning at 7:45 in Mrs. Smith's classroom.

The Onsted 8th grade boys basketball team beat Madison on the road  by 3 points.  The game had several lead changes and was extremely exciting to watch.  Jacob Hill led all scorers with 23 points, including a coast to coast drive and runner to tie the game with 6 seconds left in regulation, and the winning steal, layup, and free throw to go up by 3 in overtime.  Elijah Hall played an inspired game, scoring 11 points, including a 3 pointer.  Armani Fedd played aggressive defense, causing some turnovers.

7th grade boys lost against a talented Madison team. Brycen Lamb, Tate Theisen and Kellen Kimbrell were the offensive leaders. Zander Springer and Josh Rosenthal played solid defense and did a great job boxing out. Nate Gust played his best game of the year and provided energy for our team tonight.
